1. Engagement & Scope

Services will be delivered according to the agreed project proposal, quotation, or contract. Any additional features, integrations, or design requests outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.

2. Payments

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins.
• The remaining 50% balance is payable upon completion, prior to launch, delivery of files, or handover of credentials.
• All invoices must be settled within 7 business days unless otherwise stated.
• Late payments may delay project delivery and attract additional charges.

3. Revisions

Each service package includes a set number of revisions (as specified in your proposal). Additional revisions or major scope changes will be billed at our standard hourly/daily rates.

4. Timelines

Project timelines are estimates and depend on client responsiveness (e.g., providing content, approvals, and feedback). Delays in client responses may extend delivery dates.

5. Intellectual Property

Final project files, once paid in full, belong to the client. MetroSites reserves the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials. Any third-party software, plugins, or stock assets remain the property of their respective licensors.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide all necessary content (text, images, branding assets) in a timely manner, ensure all provided content is legally owned or licensed, and approve or request changes within reasonable timelines.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat all project information and business data as confidential.

8. Warranties & Limitations

MetroSites will deliver functional, high-quality work. However, we are not liable for third-party service failures (hosting, email providers, domain registrars, etc.). Ongoing maintenance, updates, or security monitoring are not included unless specified in a support plan.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable. If the client cancels after significant work has started, additional charges may apply based on completed milestones.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts within the jurisdiction.
